Miracles of Love.

Sun Dec 7, 2008, 4:03 PM
I am completly convinced, at this point in my life, that our relatives that have passed on watch over us. My Grandma, passed away a year ago, as of December 1st, she died at 55 years, a short life, but one that was filled with people that loved her enough to fight for her to this day.

Well recently my sister has been in a spell of bad luck, at least with her vehicles, I wont say that it wasn't her fault but it seems that all the things that could have happened did, well yesterday she was driving with 2 friends in her truck, a little ford ranger, she decided to pass the man that was in front of her, due to his 35 mile per hour speed in a 55 mph speed limit, It was foggy and the car in the other lane was a black honda and had no headlights on. Needless to say a head-on collision was in the works, she flipped her truck into the ditch, she had sped up to about 52 mph, totaled the truck and the car. Her friend broke 4 toes but that was the worst of it everyone else walked away with minor bumps and bruises. This is her 3rd totaled vehicle in 4 months. My cousin, one that I spent summers with since I was 2 years old, my sister, he, and I have always very close we where my Grandma's 3 musketeers. He is married and has a 16 month old son, he is 9 months older then me, He was riding with his wife and son, Aiden, hit a pot hole flipped his tiny Hyundai the car was beyond totaled it was a massacre, you can barely tell that the car is red any more, I am also not going to say that my cousin isn't a maniac when he drives, but his wife and son where unscathed, and he broke his pinky finger and had about 12 stitches. Both accidents happened within the past 3 months, both completely devastating and both should have had far worse results.

All of this said, I have a new outlook, I think that these are signs that my grandmothers strong will has led to my sister, her friends, my cousin, his wife and child to walk away from the sight of death. Grandma I love you so much, and I know that you are here watching over me.
